1. Introduction to the Max Daily Loss rule
The Max Daily Loss rule refers to the maximum daily loss your account can incur in a single trading day before violating the risk management rule.
The end-of-the-day (EOD) is 22:00 GMT in the winter and 21:00 GMT during US Daylight Savings, when US markets close.
By default, the Max Daily Loss limit is 3% of your previous EOD balance. The daily loss limit is not a fixed value and will change every time the previous EOD balance changes.
Your account will be disqualified if your current equity falls below the Max Daily Loss limit.
The Max Daily Loss rule applies to all our challenges and simulated funded accounts. If you breach this rule, your account will be breached.
Your Max Daily Loss limit may be higher if you are Rank 4 or above in our Experience Program.2. What is the Static Max Loss?
The Static Max Loss refers to the maximum loss your account can withstand, which means if your equity falls below this loss limit, your account will be disqualified.
Unlike the Max Trailing Loss, which is available to choose from in our one-stage challenge, the Static Max Loss limit will remain fixed.
We use a different Static Max Loss percentage, depending on the program you choose.
Two-stage program
For the two-stage program, the Static Max Loss is 9% of your starting balance.
One-stage program
For the one-stage program, the Static Max Loss is 6% of your starting balance.
Calculating the Static Max Loss Limit
You do not need to calculate the Static Max Loss limit; it is calculated in real time and displayed in your dashboard. 3. Maximum allocation
We limit the amount of simulated capital each trader can manage in funded accounts, also known as maximum allocation. Max allocation refers to the limit of simulated funds and/or funded accounts each trader can manage at any given time.
What is the maximum allocation?
The maximum initial funding you can receive is $300,000. However, you can increase your capital through our scaling program. Additional funding from scaling is exempt from the max allocation rules.
How many simulated funded accounts can I have?
You can manage up to 3 funded accounts, but the total funding amount cannot exceed $300,000. For example, if you have three $5,000 funded accounts, you'll reach your max allocation with just $15,000 of simulated capital.Do maximum allocation rules apply to challenges?
No. You can trade with as many challenges as you like. What happens if I exceed the maximum allocation?
We will refund the fee of the most recent account you passed that took you over the allocation but will let you keep the remaining funded accounts. You will not be breached for exceeding the maximum allocation rule. Can someone else in my household join the program?
No. Unless agreed otherwise, we do not allow more than one person from each household or family to participate due to risk management concerns.
