Regulators Warn of a Clone Platform Using the TopFX Identity
Abstract:An alert issued by the Seychelles FSA regarding a website impersonating TopFX and using a similar domain without any connection to the regulated broker.

A recent alert issued by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) has drawn attention to a fraudulent website impersonating TopFX, a legitimate broker regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
According to the regulator, the website https://topfxm.com/ has no connection whatsoever with TopFX Global Ltd. The authority stressed that this site is not an official channel of the broker and should not be mistaken as such by investors.
TopFX Global Ltd. operates exclusively under its official domains https://topfx.com/ and https://topfx.com.sc/. Any other website using a similar name or branding is not authorised.
A Closer Look at the Clone Website
The fraudulent site attempts to mislead users through subtle but deliberate tactics. By adding a single letter “m” to the original domain name, the clone creates a strong visual resemblance that can easily deceive unsuspecting visitors.
Beyond the domain manipulation, the operators of the fake website have gone further by copying the TopFX logo and displaying regulatory information related to the Seychelles FSA, despite having no legal or operational link to the real broker. This combination of copied branding and misused regulatory references creates a false impression of legitimacy.

The Real TopFX: Verified and Regulated
In contrast, the genuine TopFX is a long-established broker regulated by CySEC in Cyprus and has a clear regulatory profile publicly available. On WikiFX, TopFX is listed as a regulated broker with a solid operational history, transparent licensing information, and an overall score that reflects its regulatory standing and business performance.

The broker holds a Market Making (MM) license issued by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, authorising it to provide investment and trading services within the European regulatory framework.

Regulatory Reminder for Investors
The Seychelles FSA has urged investors and the general public to conduct thorough due diligence before engaging with any financial service provider. Clone websites, especially those that imitate well-known brokers and misuse regulatory credentials, are a common method used in online financial fraud.
Investors are reminded that verifying official domains, checking regulatory registers, and consulting independent information platforms are essential steps to reduce exposure to unnecessary risks.
