Reason for this visit

To help investors have good knowledge of regulated brokers in Cyprus, the survey team this time visited RCS, a broker based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Regulatory information

According to the regulatory information, the broker RCS has the STP license issued by CySEC and located at 28 Ayias Zonis, Christophides House Office 201, 3027 Ayia Zoni, Limassol, Cyprus. 

On-site visit

The survey team followed the address on the regulatory information to an office building located at 28 Ayias Zonis, Limassol, Cyprus. The building named "Christophides House" is a five-story commercial building, which is inconspicuous in the street.     

The team didn’t see the logo of RCS inside and outside the building then took the elevator to the 2nd floor. There was no logo of RCS at the door of Office 201 either. Later, it was learned from the staff in office that RCS is indeed operated there. In glance, the office scale isn’t particularly large with no more than 10 employees on duty.

Conclusion

It is confirmed after the survey team’s site visit that RCS’s office indeed is located at the regulatory address. However, there is no logo of RCS in the building. Inquiry from the staff on the 2nd floor, it was learned that the broker works in this building. In addition, the overall office scale is small with fewer than 10 employees. Please be prudent when trading with this broker.
