Headway's scams are worse than those in the night market. They advertise 'no withdrawal fees,' but last month, I withdrew 500,000 THB and only had 465,000 THB left in my account after a 7% 'currency conversion fee'! Customer service claimed 'the bank charges it,' but when I checked with Kasikorn Bank, they didn't impose any such fee. Clearly, Headway pocketed the fee themselves. The standard USD/THB spread in their account is usually 10 pips, but it spikes to 35 pips whenever the Bank of Thailand releases data. Last month, when I placed an AUD/THB trade, the spread showed 8, but after execution, it jumped to 22, costing me an extra 28,000 THB. I tracked 30 trades and found Headway's average spread was six times higher than Thailand's 'SCB Forex' platform, forcing me to pay an additional 93,000 THB in spreads. I tried withdrawing my remaining 300,000 THB, but they said I 'must trade 100 lots first'—meaning I’ll lose even more money! Thai people, don’t fall for this.
